sigmoid colon
结肠的一部分，在左髂嵴平面与降结肠相连，至第三骶椎平面续于直肠，位于左腹下部及小骨盆内，呈“乙”状或“S”形弯曲，正常人除腹壁过厚者外，在左下腹可以触及，呈光滑、稍硬的圆桶状，粗细如蜡烛，小儿因年龄的不同而粗细不等，无压痛。乙状结肠可发生炎症和肿瘤，小儿少见。不能触诊时，可做乙状结肠镜检查。
