补充资料：褐云玛瑙螺
肺螺亚纲(Pulmonata)玛瑙螺科玛瑙螺属贝类的1种。俗名"菜螺"、"东方螺"、"非洲蜗牛"。原产非洲，传入中国后，分布于广东、广西、福建和台湾等省。大型陆栖螺类壳高可达200毫米，一般为130毫米，呈纺锤形。壳质较厚,有6～9个螺层。螺旋部高。壳面光滑,呈黄色或浅黄色，具有深褐色云雾状的花纹。无厣。在干燥、寒冷的时候分泌乳白色粘液膜，封闭壳口，称为膜厣。栖息于树木葱郁、杂草丛生阴暗潮湿和腐殖质多的地方。多在夜晚和雨后外出活动。雌雄异体，交配后产卵，卵产于泥土中，每个螺每年可产卵600～1200粒,卵5～10天孵化。杂食性，主要吃绿色植物,为农作物的敌害。肉可供食用，并为家畜、家禽的饲料。近年来，从褐云玛瑙螺的消化液内提取蜗牛酶，用于细胞学和遗传学的研究；从蛋白腺中可提取抗血凝素等物质，价值十分昂贵；还可作为中药药材,具有清热解毒等功能。(见彩图)
