A number of discontinuous sedimentary indexes have been proposed for the first time in the Upper Permian Heshan Formation as follows:(1)brecciated limestones,(2)coarse recrystallization calcite formed by freshwater diagenesis,(3)paleocracks,(4)paleokarst,(5)oxidized crust,(6)conglomerate beds and(7)bedded caves.
首次提出在晚二叠世合山组碳酸盐岩含煤岩系发育过程中存在沉积间断，并在其中鉴别出众多的沉积间断标志：①灰岩的角砾化现象；②淡水作用下的重结晶粗大方解石颗粒；③古裂隙；④古溶洞；⑤氧化壳；③砾石层；③层状晶洞。
