On the basis of illustrating the conception of animal welfare,and from the perspective of protecting consumers' health and benefits as well as the need for developing China's animal husbandry industry after the entry of WTO,this article studies the animal welfare,then discusses the necessity of advocating animal welfare and constructing the legal system for animal welfare protection in China.

The actuality of veterinary drug in poultry feeding industry of the countryside and the problem in the process of using veterinary drug were analyzed, and some control measures were put forward.
