| 泥炭 peat 植物残体在沼泽中堆积并经生物化学作用而形成的松软未经成岩的可燃有机物。又称泥煤或草炭。泥炭是煤的前身。在上覆沉积物的压力和菌解作用下，经压实和脱水而变为褐煤。泥炭多呈暗褐色至黑色；水含量高，一般为50％～80％，风干后比重为0.7～1.2；泥炭中的有机质主要是纤维素、半纤维素、木质素、腐殖酸、沥青物质等；泥炭中的无机物主要是粘土、石英和其他矿物杂质。全球泥炭储量3000多亿吨，主要分布于纬度较高的温寒带湿润和半湿润气候区。如中国约280亿吨泥炭储量中，北纬40°以北地区约占80％，北纬30°～40°地区约占14％，北纬30°以南广大地区约占6％。泥炭用途广泛：可作农肥，制作腐殖酸类复合肥料；可广泛用于工业，如发电、酿酒、制陶、医药和建筑材料；可从泥炭中提取多种化工产品；还可用作果木、蔬菜的培植土，花卉的营养钵等。 |
