| 三毛(1943～1991) 中国台湾作家。原名陈平。浙江定海人，生于四川重庆。1948年随父母去台湾，中学时因病辍学自修。后进入台湾中国文化大学哲学系旁听。毕业后，先后在西班牙马德里大学修文学，德国歌德书院学德文，美国伊利诺大学主修陶瓷。回台湾后，在文化大学任教。1972年，去撒哈拉大沙漠与西班牙潜水师荷西结婚。在沙漠生活的6年中，写下了富有大漠浪漫风情的散文集《撒哈拉的故事》、《雨季不再来》、《稻草人手记》、《哭泣的骆驼》等作品。1979年荷西意外遇难，她在《梦里花落知多少》、《背影》等散文中，叙写生离死别的悲哀和痛惜。1981年回到台湾，不久又去中美洲等地旅游，1987年返回台湾，在文化大学讲授小说研究和散文习作。三毛的作品是她人生的真实记录，虽缺乏对社会现实开阔深入的关照，但她独特的生活经历，率真任性、洒脱自如的文字，取得生动感人的效果。1991年1月4日因病住院期间自杀。
