| 绿岩带 greenstone belt 蚀变或变质的基性火成岩带。通常指前寒武纪地盾中呈条带状分布的变质基性岩地区，如太古绿岩带等。一个绿岩带中可含有一层或几层基性火山-沉积变质产物。主要岩石类型有细碧岩、玄武岩、辉长岩和辉绿岩等。因变质作用生成的绿泥石、绿帘石、阳起石等矿物促使岩石普遍具有暗绿色。一套完整的绿岩地层，由早期的火山岩和晚期的以浊流沉积为主的碎屑沉积岩或火山碎屑沉积岩组成；火山岩下部以超基性-基性岩为主，并含有一层科马提岩（指一种超基性喷出岩），上部为钙碱性火山岩。 |
