Associated with the study of lighter hydrocarbon constituent, carbon isotope, biomarker and inclusions, adopted the technique of oil source correlation on whole oil samples, it can be confirmed that the hydrocarbon source of viscous crude in Permian, in the east slope of Jimusaer depression, is Pingdiquan Formation mudstone; Carboniferous oil comes from Carboniferous source rock.

温泉湖温泉是西藏西部第三个朝圣景点。据说曾有一个僧人在此修炼成佛，朝圣者们来到这儿为了希望洗去罪恶。这里的寺庙中有许多佛雕，西藏的朝圣者相信，小径的南面可以看到山边的河流，而温泉则位于小径东尽头，河流旁。
去温泉湖温泉可以随团，自己租用吉普车，也可以到门士镇南9公里处（查多冈日以西65公里）搭车。门士没有住宿，所以建议从查多冈日或其他地方出发
