用波长为250~265nm的紫外线杀灭病原微生物的消毒方法。紫外线对一般细菌、病毒,都有杀灭作用。主要用于手术室、无菌操作室和传染病房的空气消毒和表面消毒。因穿透能力弱,不宜消毒衣物和书籍。消毒效果与照射距离和时间有关。消毒空气时,用15W紫外线灯管照射30分钟。空气中尘埃过多、湿度过大可降低消毒效果。
