This paper firstly presents a brief introduction to the thematic structure and information structure,two main subsystems of textual function in Systemic Functional Grammar by Halliday,and then analyses the relationship between them,indicating that the marked information focus plays an important role not only in the discourse progression but also in Text linguistics and Stylistics.
介绍了系统功能语言学中语篇功能中子系统的主位结构的信息结构,进而对于两者关系以及与语篇连贯、衔接之间的关系作了分析,指出当主位与已知信息不相重合时,即有标记的信息中心往往更能表现出说话者或作者的意图。
