补充资料：交直流两用电动机
一种可由交流供电，也可由直流供电的串励电动机，又称普用电动机。图中所示为它的原理接线示意。这种电机实质上是直流串励电动机。只是为了使它能适应交流运行，全部磁路系统都由叠片制成,以减小涡流。定子上除励磁绕组F和换向极绕组FD外,还增设补偿绕组Fs，以限制交流运行时电枢绕组产生过大的电抗压降并改善换向。
由于这种电动机是直流串励电动机的改进，故它无疑可作直流电动机运行。作直流电动机运行时，磁通和电枢电流方向不变，电磁转矩的方向也不变。作交流电动机运行时，虽然磁通和电枢电流的大小和方向不断改变，但由于二者是同时改变的，所以它们所产生的转矩的方向是不变的。
交直流两用电动机的机械特性和直流串励电动机相似。它的起动转矩大，电源方便，广泛用于电动工具和家用电器，如手电钻、吸尘器、绞肉机、磨粉机等。
