正面光(Front light)，亦称平光。主光线处于照相机位置或于其后方时，从正面来对被摄物进行照明。如在照相机的附件插座上装上频闪灯拍摄。或者是使用环境光时的布光，都属于正面光。由于很少有立体感，易拍成平面般的形状，故常用于记录摄影。作为前侧光的辅助光，起到相当的作用。
