亚硝酸异戊酯是一种抗心绞痛药物，作用较硝酸甘油更快的硝酸盐制剂，为易气化的液体装药物，装入玻璃管内，需用时裹在手帕里挤破，经鼻孔吸入。10～15秒内发生作用，持续几分钟，容易产生较重的头痛及脸红发热等副作用，有时会使血压明显下降，故目前很少使用。 本品可以将血红蛋白中的Fe2+氧化成高铁血红蛋白Fe3+,进而与氰离子结合成无毒的氰化高铁血红蛋白.
适应症：
本品与硝酸甘油相似，唯作用更快，可用于防治心绞痛的急性发作和氰化物中毒。
用量用法：
吸入：将盛药小安瓿裹在手帕内拍破后吸入。 氰化物中毒后立即吸入0.2ml,每分钟1次,并尽快应用硫代硫酸钠.
