    分子式C3H5(ONO2。又称硝酸甘油(酯)、甘油三硝酸酯。无色或淡黄色粘稠液体,有烧焦甜味。熔点13℃,沸点256℃,相对密度1.5931(20/4℃)。常压下加热到50~60℃开始分解,100℃以上大量挥发并冒出亚硝酸黄烟,加热到沸点时发生爆炸。微溶于水,溶于乙醇、乙醚、丙酮等有机溶剂。硝化甘油可由甘油与浓硝酸、浓硫酸的混合酸在严格控制的冷却条件下作用制得:
