性质:由于存在孤对电子结构,一般自由基具有高化学反应活性(低反应活化能)和短寿命特征。但在某些情况下,如在黏稠介质中,在聚合物结晶区或在玻璃化转变温度(Tg)以下的聚合物的无定型区内,被散埋其中的自由基反应活性被急骤降低,其寿命也相应地延长了。这些位于“陷阱”中的低活性自由基被称做陷落自由基。
