In this thesis,we study knit-ability of linen yarn and processing of linen knitted fabrics with two different materials,line yarn and linen tow yarn.

It was found that the flax flat-knittability could be improved by some effective methods,including maintaining moisture,using two-ply flax yarns,pre-processing and designing rational knitting parameters.

In order to knit smoothly for flax yarn,analyzing twist has influence on the breakdown intensity,breakdown elongation,volume,diameter and the quality of cloth,and studying the number of twist has influence on the flax yarn for knitting.

By grafting flax yarn's dyeing test with different dyestuff, we find that grafting flax yarn not only retains its stiff and smooth style, but also overcomes its dyeing weakness.

The function of chelate disperse agent in flax roving scouring;

This paper analyses corresponding relation and contradiction between flax roving chemical degumming and dyeing and finishing,and provides foundation in order to formulate rationally flax roving degumming and dyeing and finishing throngh theory and test on flax roving chemical degumming.
