端州古城墙
广东仅存的完整古城墙，位于肇庆市区内人民南路一带，始建于宋代，呈长方形，周长280.2米，制高点在城北披云楼。目前城墙高出地面10米，城墙两侧由砖砌成，中间夯土，外围共有28个城垛，城砖规格达40多个品种，是历史上曾多次修葺的见证。当年广西壮族首领侬智高反宋，端州太守丁宝臣因无城墙防守，弃城而逃。侬智高失败后，官府于公元1053年始筑土城墙，至明末共修城墙十一次。清代又修葺了九次。新中国成立后历年都重视维修城墙，在江滨堤路建成之前，城墙起着防洪的作用，目前城墙基本完好。
交通：乘3路公交车到底就到了城墙脚下。此外9、10、17路皆能到达。
