电影录音的一种工艺，指在摄影时，同时用录音机把现场的全部声音记录下来的录音方法。同期录音记录的是现场的真实声音，它比后期的配音要自然、逼真。因为分场景拍摄画面时，人物在各种环境中的表演活动所发出的响声、语声、环境声以及这些声音的交织情况是不同的，只有用同期录音工艺才能真实地把这些信息记录下来，并与同时拍摄下来的画面一并构成真实的、视听一致的艺术效果。采用同期录音工艺所用的摄影机和录音机，必须同步运转，以确保摄得的画面胶片长度与同时录得的声带胶片长度相同，以求画面和声音相吻合。同期录音还要求摄影机运转时的机械噪声低，以免形成与画面内容无关的背景噪声。拍摄实景时，要防止与剧情及时代、季节不相符合的噪声出观。在摄影棚内拍摄时，既不允许棚外的其他杂声传入，也不允许棚内其他工作部门发出任何噪声，以免降低录音的艺术效果。
