| 天然焦 natural coke 煤层受岩浆侵入，快速热解、干馏而成的固体可燃矿产。可于煤层的地下自燃生成。因与人工焦炭相似而得名。赋存于岩墙、岩床、岩株等侵入体的两侧或一侧，通常厚度为几厘米至几米。多呈灰黑色至钢灰色，多孔状、层状构造，坚硬，比重大，裂隙和气孔中多充填碳酸盐矿物。灰分高，由于裂隙和气孔中封闭有气体，加热后具有燃爆性。中国不少煤田产有天然焦，尤其广存于华东地区煤层之中。天然焦多用作燃料，极少数优质天然焦可用于小型化肥生产。 |
