［一、善修事业］，谓修菩萨行者，于种种财法惠施众生，无所吝惜；诸佛戒律，坚守护持；遇诸苦难，忍受无悔；诸正法行，精进无怠；安住禅定，心不散乱；以正智慧，照了诸法；乃至种种行业皆悉修习，是为善修事业。（菩萨，梵语具云菩提萨埵，华言觉有情。）
［二、方便善巧］，谓修菩萨行者，于诸有情，或于圣教有未入者，令其趣入；已趣入者，令其成熟；已成熟者，令其解脱；乃至诸戒律仪，受持毁犯，种种方便，令诸有情，皆得利益，是为方便善巧。
［三、饶益于他］，谓修菩萨行者，于诸有情，或以布施，或以爱语，或作利他之行，或与随类同事，令其皆得安乐，是为饶益于他。
［四、无倒回向］，谓修菩萨行者，于己所修一切善业，及方便善巧饶益之行，以净信心，回向于他，而求无上正等菩提；终不以此所集善根，倒求世间果报，是为无倒回向。
