性质:构成活性污泥的絮凝物,它是好氧微生物、原生动物与金属氢氧化物为主的无机物的聚集体。其具有物理化学吸附、生物物理化学吸附和凝聚沉降等作用,能促使与废水中悬浮固体、胶体物质等发生类似化学絮凝的桥梁作用,使污染物颗粒失稳并被吸收、聚凝。主要的能形成生物絮凝体的细菌有生枝动胶菌、产碱杆菌属、黄杆菌属、假单孢杆菌属以及大肠埃希氏杆菌属。此外,原生动物如纤毛虫、豆形虫等在形成生物絮凝体方面也起重要作用。
