Results Papillary and cauliflower-like transitional cell carcinoma(TCC) showed identical density nodules in the renal pelvis,calyces and parenchyma.

Of these patients 13 cases with primary ureter transitional cell carcinoma and 3 cases with primary renal pelvis transitional cell carcinoma proved by surgery and pathology were reviewed.

From 1983 to 2000, 2 patients with squamous cell carcinoma of the renal pelvis associated with renal calculi were treated in our department.
