| 蛇纹岩 serpentinite 一种变质岩。由超基性岩经中低温热液交代作用或中低级区域变质作用形成。主要组成矿物是各种蛇纹石（叶蛇纹石、纤维蛇纹石、利蛇纹石等），其次有少量磁铁矿、钛铁矿、铬铁矿、水镁石等。可见残留的橄榄石和辉石。因岩石的风化而呈灰白色，并具网纹状，颇似蛇皮，故名。与蛇纹岩有关的矿产有铬、镍、钴、铂和石棉、滑石、菱镁矿等。含镁高的蛇纹岩也可作耐火材料和化肥原料。 |
