补充资料：平度隋双体船
中国山东省平度泽河东岸出土的隋代双体木船。两个船体各宽1米左右，均用3段整枫香树木刳制、衔接而成。船体之间用20余根横梁连接，横梁两头分别穿过船身，再以铁钉固定。上铺甲板，一端有篷庐等建筑的遗迹。体侧还附加"翼形"板。此船残长 20.24米，两船体结合后宽约 2.8米，载重量23吨左右。当时可能是作为趸船使用的。
由于双体船拥有较高的稳定性、较大的运载量和较快的航速，所以中国古代重视这种船型。古文献中称之为舫或方船。广西贵县罗泊湾西汉墓出土铜鼓的纹饰与晋顾恺之的《洛神赋图》中都有双体船的图像，实物则以此船为最早。
