This paper introduces the preparation of water-borne anti-rust coatings, using iron oxide red as anti-rust extender pigment, zinc phosphate and zinc oxide as anti-rust pigments, lepidolite as flake pigment and styrene/acrylic latex as binder; analyzes the factors influencing the performances and compares the performances with solvent-borne antirust coatings.
