拱北桥俗称五眼桥,位于广东惠州西湖北面的湖水出口处。北宋治平年间(1506-1521年),太守陈偁筑堤围湖时建,至今已有900年历史,历代均有维修。1925年东征时,黄埔军校师生经此桥攻打惠州北门。现桥头建有黄埔军校东征阵亡烈士纪念碑。 桥为砖石结构,长40米,宽8.4米,高8.7米,造型古朴,建筑牢固,是西湖历史上著名的六桥之一。每当春暖花开,湖水入江时,滚雪流珠,为湖上名景之一。
