【植物形态】
多茎野豌豆 多年生草本，高20～40厘米。根茎极粗。茎上升，很多。叶轴顶端有卷须，卷须通常不分枝；托叶半箭头状，长5～7毫米，上部的托叶线形、矩形或卵状披针形；小叶8～16，矩椭圆形或线矩形，先端钝或尖，长15～22毫米，阔1.5～2.5毫米。总状花序被竖立的毛，高出于叶，有10～20朵向一边疏生的花；花梗长达5毫米；花平展地远离，长15～18毫米；萼钟状，有平伏短茸毛，上面的萼齿较短，三角形，下面的披针形，中间的几乎和萼管等长；花冠紫色，旗瓣矩倒卵形，有极短的爪。荚果矩形，无毛，长20～30毫米，阔6毫米。种子有小脐。 生于牧区林缘及河滩灌丛中。分布于东北等地。

夏秋采割全草，晒干，备用。

【功用主治】
发汗除湿，活血止痛。治风湿疼痛，筋骨拘挛，黄疸肝炎，白带，鼻血，热疟，阴囊湿疹。
【用法与用量】
内服：煎汤，0.5～1两。外用：煎水洗。

①治筋骨疼痛：多茎野豌豆、老鹳草、秦艽、羌活、心叶菝葜，煎服。 ②疟疾发热：多茎野豌豆、土常山、柴胡、草果，煎服。 ③治肝炎：多茎野豌豆、龙胆、华金腰子，煎服。 ④治红崩白带：多茎野豌豆、茱萸，煎服。 ⑤治鼻血不止：多茎野豌豆、捞糟同炖服。 ⑥治阴囊湿疹：多茎野豌豆、香蒿，煎水洗。
