| 蜱亚目 Ixodida；ticks 蜱螨亚纲寄螨目的一亚目。通称蜱。全世界分布，已知800余种，以热带和亚热带地区种类最多。成虫体长2～10毫米，饱食血后可达30毫米。表皮革质，背面或具骨化的盾板。发育过程分卵、幼虫、若虫和成虫4期。营寄生生活，吸食血液，少数种的某一虫期不吸血。蜱的寄主范围广泛，多数种类侵袭人类。有的种类是某些疫源性疾病的传播媒介，对人畜的健康危害很大。 |
