Theiler\'s mouse encephalomyelitis virus(TMEV)、Ectromelia virus(Ect)、Lymphatic choriomeningitis virus(LCMV)、Polyoma virus(POLY) and Pneumonia virus of mice(PVM) were chosen in this study and these pathogens must be excluded in clean and SPF graded laboratory animals.

脉络丛脑膜炎
又称"淋巴细胞脉络丛脑膜炎"。脉络丛有淋巴细胞浸润的脑膜炎，为病毒性脑膜炎的一种。好发于青壮年，春秋两季多见。受染的家鼠和白鼠为此病的天然宿主，由于食入被鼠尿、粪或其口鼻分泌物污染的食物而致病。发病较急，于感染后约8～13日开始出现全身症状，表现为类似呼吸道感染的前驱症状，经15～21日开始出现脑膜炎症状。可有脑膜刺激征，脑脊液改变如压力增高，白细胞计数多在100～1500之间，淋巴细胞占大多数，蛋白增高，糖正常。临床诊断需特别了解生活史，即在病前有无食入被鼠排泄物污染的食物及居住环境有无病源等。一般病情较轻，经数周即可自然痊愈或好转。
