| 柳杉 Cryptomeria fortunei 杉科柳杉属常绿乔木。又称孔雀杉。中国特有树种，产于山东、河南和长江以南各地区，浙江、福建有人工林。木质轻软，易加工，能抗白蚁蛀食，可作建筑、电杆、桥梁等用材；树皮可提取栲胶；叶可制线香。树姿雄伟，在园林绿化上有重要价值。树高达40米。小枝下垂。叶钻形，螺旋状互生。雌雄同株。雄球花单生叶腋，长椭圆形；雌球花单生枝顶。球果球形或扁球形，约具20个种鳞，每种鳞具2粒种子。种子褐色，两侧有翅。幼龄稍耐荫。适宜年降水量1000毫米以上、年平均气温14～19℃、1月平均气温在0℃以上的气候条件。土壤以山地黄棕壤、红黄壤、黄壤为主，在土层深厚、排水良好的壤质酸性土上生长较好。生长迅速而持久。一般立冬前后采球果，摊晒3～5天，种鳞干裂筛出种子，干藏至次年早春播种。也可扦插繁殖。通常用2年生移植苗造林。
