冷胶活化法 现代家具工艺技术之一。是一种聚腊酸乙烯封边的方法。在封边条入机床前，用热空气和高频加热活化，使水分排出，树脂部分加强。然后，只要很短的加压时间就能象接触胶那样粘住。用此法封边时，基材加工和封边后侧边加工都比热熔胶封边时精度高。其胶缝不明显，几乎看不见。因此便于工件铣削和研磨。另外，在成型封边时，边部呈弧形，与平面间没有清晰的界线，形成一条余缝，因此可以不用整块的木材作镶边条。其优点有：１、费用节约；２、转角部位不用垫入木块；３、在酸腐蚀或老化时不变色。
