北宋刻花银棺 一九七四年，江苏连云港海清寺阿育王塔发现。棺长20.5厘，宽8.8—5.6厘米、高10.5—9厘米，重7.5两。出土前用银丝绕扎。银棺前宽后窄。棺盖、棺头和棺身两侧槌揲图案和“涅槃变”。棺头前两侧有槌揲的的天王力士像，一执剑一执斧。棺盖上槌揲佛的涅槃像，边坡四周绕以莲花，前后各有一个、左右各有三个佛的三宝之一的“金刚叉”图饰。棺的两侧，为佛的十大弟子哭泣像，另三人为梵天来降、守护圣灵之像。画面庄穆，形象飞动。银棺下连须弥座，四周镂云气纹。棺后刻写铭文七行共八十四字。底部为缠枝莲花纹。
