性质:又称瓷釉。覆盖在陶瓷制品表面的无色或有色的玻璃态薄层。釉的种类繁多,按组成可分为石灰釉、长石釉、铅釉、锆釉、硼釉、铅硼釉、盐釉、土釉等;按外观可分为透明釉、乳浊釉、颜色釉、结晶釉、金砂釉、无光釉、碎纹釉等;颜色釉的颜色是多种多样的,有红、黄、蓝、白、黑、青花等。釉料中部分原料为熔块细磨成釉浆时称为熔块釉。不用熔块者为生釉或生料釉。按照釉的熔制温度的高低还可分为高温釉(>1250℃)、中温釉(1100~1250℃)和低温釉(<1100℃)等。按导电性能分为普通釉和半导体釉。釉浆通常采用天然矿物原料(如长石、方解石、石英、滑石、高岭土等)和化工原料按一定比例配料,经细磨制成。施釉方式一般采用浸釉、喷釉、涂敷等将釉浆均匀覆盖在坯体上经釉烧而成。釉层可使制品表面光润,不透水、不易沾污,并对制品的机械强度,电性能,化学稳定性及热稳定性等有一定的程度的提高。日用瓷釉还对重金属铅,镉等有害元素的溶出量有很严格的要求。工业瓷釉除外观质量外对性能要求严格。
