【局部电池】(localcell)有时亦称“微小电池”。指金属表面上混有微量的杂质如碳或其他金属的粒子,再有电解质薄膜覆盖其上,而形成的微小原电池。若基体金属较杂质为活泼,则基体金属即被溶解而腐蚀。金属机械的表面露置于潮湿空气中,水蒸气能在表面上凝聚,同时吸收了空气中的二氧化碳,就会形成局部电池。由局部电池造成的金属腐蚀,其腐蚀速度不仅取决于组成这些局部电池的电极的电化学性质,还与介质的欧姆电阻有关。金属因这种腐蚀而受到的损失极为巨大。防止或
