In designing and calculating the tunnel metallic support,not only the structure's strength and stiffness should be calculated,but also the stability should be checked.

In order to meet with the varied requirement of roadway support, the arc-terrace metallic support is newly developed.

From metal skeleton of flexible graphite corrugated metal gaskets,under given pressure(45 MPa) conditions,the stress of metal sketelon of three various circular arc radius,wave gear tooth pitch and tooth number was analysed by finite element method.
