| 辉钼矿 molybdenite 钼的硫化物（MoS2）矿物，分布最广的钼矿物。含钼59.94％，常含铼，也是已知含铼最高的矿物。因此是提炼钼和铼的主 要矿物原料。辉钼矿有不同的多型，分别属于六方和三方晶系，晶体呈六方板状；通常以片状、鳞片状或细小分散粒状产出。呈铅灰色，强金属光泽，莫氏硬度仅1～1.5，比重5.0。具平行底面的极完全解理。薄片具挠性能弯曲，有滑感。主要产于高温、中温热液及夕卡岩矿床中。在地表易风化成钼华（MoO3）。美国科罗拉多州的克莱马克斯、尤拉德-亨德森是著名产地。中国河南、陕西、山西、辽宁等地也有产出，其总储量居世界前列。
