【植物形态】
白花灰毛槐树 灌木，高50～150厘米，黄绿色；嫩枝被有平贴的柔毛。单数羽状复叶互生，小叶15～19，叶轴及叶背面均有平贴的黄灰色短毛；小叶片椭圆形，近革质；顶叶最大，长1.5～4厘米，宽6～10毫米，先端圆钝，基部楔形。总状花序顶生，具短的总花梗；花梗密生绢状毛，较短于密生绢毛的花萼；花白色。荚果长约7～11厘米。有5～6颗种子。 生灌丛中。分布四川、云南，贵州等地。

全年可采。
【性味】
苦，寒。
【功用主治】
清热，除烦。治喉痛，烦热不眠。
【用法与用量】
内服：煎汤，3～5钱。
