古海岸与湿地国家级自然保护区
位于天津市滨海地区，总面积27730公顷，1984年经天津市人民政府批准建立，1992年晋升为国家级，主要保护对象为贝壳堤、牡蛎滩古海岸遗迹和滨海湿地。
本区临渤海湾西岸，地处海河等河流的入海口，地势低洼、贝壳堤、牡蛎滩规模大、出露好、连续性强、序列清晰，在我国沿海最为典型，在西太平洋各边缘濒海平原也属罕见，并且两类截然不同的生物堆积体在如此近的距离内共存也为世界罕见。区内的七里海湿地还栖息和生长着多种珍稀野生动植物。该保护区的建立对研究海陆变迁和滨海湿地生态系统均具有重要意义。
