Generally surrounding rock will enter into its post-peak phase in soft rock or deep underground engineering,a large quantity of cracks appear,spread,stagger and stretch,which is the main reason for the deformation and bearing capacity decreasing of surrounding rock,therefore uniaxial experiment can not reflects the essence of surrounding rock deformation in its post-peak phase.
软岩和深埋地下工程的围岩一般要进入峰后阶段,大量裂缝的衍生、扩展、错动和张开是围岩变形、承载力下降的主要原因,单轴实验已不能反映峰后围岩的变形本质。
补充资料：峰峰矿区
年产原煤千万吨的大型矿区。位于河北省峰峰市，紧靠京广铁路,交通方便。煤种较多,有肥煤、焦煤、瘦煤、贫煤、无烟煤。但水文地质复杂,开采难度较大。清光绪年间(1875～1908)已有当地居民用手工采掘。嗣后有怡立煤矿公司、中和公司、致和公司从事开采。1937年"七七"事变后，矿区被日本帝国主义侵占，遭到掠夺性开采。1945年华北解放区人民政府接收矿区，1949年成立峰峰矿务局。此后，开采规模迅速扩大。1965年煤产量发展到 592万吨，1977年突破1000万吨。1981年有生产矿井13处，核定能力年产945万吨。产煤979万吨。有选煤厂5座，核定能力年入洗原煤610万吨。另有两座设计年产原煤120万吨的矿井正在建设。
