Based on Eyring's theory of rate processes and introducing local surface fraction, a three parameter equation of calculating viscosity for non electrolyte solutions has been proposed.

Based on Chapmans theory of heat conduction for correlating liquid thermal conductivity with viscosity,and combined a correlative formula of liquid viscosity which is induced from Eyrings theory of rate processes and introducing local surface fraction,a new equation of calculating thermal conductivity for non electrolyte solutions has been proposed.

A conventional adiabatic calorimeter was constructed and the specific heat capacities of 7 heterogeneous aqueous electrolytes have been measured at the temperatures from 5 ℃to 60 ℃.
