The causes of brick masonry building with frame-shear wall structure at lower stories cracking under earthquake load are discussed,and some housing detection methods are presented considered the rigidity of this kind of structure,influence of intensity,ductility synthetically,this method has suitable reference value to the housing detection.

This article intends to give the readers a characteristic description of the fissures occurred to buildings through five similar building detection items, and an analysis is made of the causes for such fissures with an intention for some effective methods to solve the problems.
