【性状】
本品为橙黄色至橙红色粉末，略有硫化氢特臭。 本品在水或有机溶剂中几乎不溶。
【鉴别】
（1）取含量测定项下的硝化溶液10ml,加水5ml与脲5g，加沸至沸，冷却，加 碘化钾试液2ml，即显淡黄色，放置后迅速变深。 （2）取鉴别（1）项下所得的显色溶液，静置10分钟后，滤过，滤液加氯化钡试液10 ml,即生成沉淀。
【检查】
可溶性硒化物 对照品溶液的制备 取亚硒酸钠对照品适量，精密称定，加硝酸 溶液(1→30)溶解并定量稀释制成每1ml中约含1mg硒的溶液；精密量取5ml，置250ml量瓶中，加水 稀释至刻度，摇匀，再精密量取5ml，置200ml量瓶中，加水稀释至刻度，摇匀，即得(每1ml相 当于0.5μg的Se)。 供试品溶液的制备 取本品5.0g，置150ml烧瓶中，加水50.0ml，放置1小时，并时时振摇， 滤过，取续滤液，即得。 测定法 精密量取对照品溶液与供试品溶液各10ml，分别加2.5mol／L甲酸溶液2ml，加 水稀释至50ml，摇匀，必要时用上述溶液调节pH值至2.0～3.0，各加临用新制的0.5％盐酸 二氨基联苯胺溶液2ml，摇匀，放置45分钟，用氨试液调节pH至6.0～7.0，将溶液分别移入分 液漏斗中，各精密加入甲苯10ml，强烈振摇1分钟，静置使分层，弃去水层，分取甲苯液， 照分光光度法(附录Ⅳ B)，在420nm的波长处分别测定吸收度，供试品溶液的吸收度不得大于对 照品溶液的吸收度(0.0005％)。
【含量测定】
取本品约0.lg，精密称定，加发烟硝酸25ml，置水浴中加热约1小时，使硝化完 全，放冷，移置100ml量瓶中，加水稀释至刻度，摇匀，精密量取20ml，加脲10g与水25ml，加热 至沸，冷却，加碘化钾试液10ml与淀粉指示液3ml，立即用硫代硫酸钠滴定液(0.05mol／L)滴定至 溶液由红褐色转变为橙红色。每1ml的硫代硫酸钠滴定液(0.05mol／L)相当于0.987mg的Se。
