This paper presents the research progress of energy structural model for process integration,especially introduces the three-link energy structural model of process systems.

Here introduced were progresses in flexibility analysis and resilence design for process systems,classification of related studies,comparison between several calculation methods for flexibility analysis as well as the concept of the fuzzy flexibility index.
