【性状】
本品多皱缩卷曲，有的破碎，完整叶片展平后呈椭圆状披针形或卵圆状 披针形，长2～5cm，宽0.5～2cm，淡绿色或灰绿色，先端钝，有小芒尖，基部钝圆或楔 形，边缘具细齿，常反卷，两面无毛，叶脉于下表面突起；叶柄细，长约4mm。 质脆。 气微，味淡。
【鉴别】
本品表面观：上下表皮细胞多角形，垂周壁平直，表面有颗粒状角质纹 理；气孔平轴式。 本品横切面：表皮细胞扁平，外壁凸起；叶肉两面均具栅栏组织，上表皮内栅栏细 胞多为2 列，下表皮内多为 1列，细胞极短，海绵组织细胞2～4列，含棕色物；主脉维 管束双韧型，维管束周围及韧皮部散有乳汁管。
【性味与归经】
甘、苦，凉。归肝经。
【功能与主治】
平肝安神，清热利水。用于肝阳眩晕，心悸失眠，浮肿尿少；高 血压，神经衰弱，肾炎浮肿。
【用法与用量】
6～12g 。
【贮藏】
置阴凉干燥处。
