性质: 是一种高位混合式冷凝器,多用于多效蒸发器的末效之后,使末效蒸汽冷凝并兼有产生真空的作用。一般用河水或井水作冷却水时,真空度可达80~l00kPa。该设备分为两种形式,一为淋水板式,一为多喷嘴式,附图为多喷嘴式。蒸汽从冷凝器一侧进入;冷却水由器顶分两部分引入:一部分通入锥形喷水器,使水分散洒下,扩大与蒸汽接触面积,主要使蒸汽冷凝;一部分通入喷嘴,成高速液流喷出,集中于喉部进入大气腿。这些射流的作用是将蒸汽中的不凝性气体带入大气腿中,然后随水流排入热水井。故这种冷凝器不但能使蒸汽冷凝,也兼有真空泵的抽气作用。在相同的冷却水量下,多喷嘴式产生的真空度较淋水板式高13.3~20kPa(100~150mmHg)。显然,这种混合式冷凝器只能用于冷凝液不需要回收的场合。
