Frother was synthesized with crude sulfate turpentine oil as raw materials and PS (an organic acid) as catalyst.

In this paper, in order to make frother for mineral flotation, the one-step-method preparation with crude sulfate turpentine oil was studied, in which different catalysts were used, the reaction temperature, ratios of water and emolsifier to the raw material , the dosage of the catalysts and the reaction time were taken into consideration.
