性质:玻璃微球作为热塑性,热固性高聚物的增强材料或填料,有它的独特之处。这种微球是表面光滑完整的球粒,对基体的黏度和流动性影响很小,且不会造成过高的应力集中。玻璃微球颗粒尺寸范围一般在5~700μm。制备方法有碎颗粒火琢法,熔融材料雾化法和碎粒煅烧法等。玻璃微球表面呈惰性,具有吸水性,常用硅酮、硅烷或金属物质包覆其表面,产生各种特殊性能。玻璃微球和玻璃纤维协同作为增强体使用时增强效果好,并使熔融黏度降低,改善了纤维的分散性和模塑流动性。用银包覆的微球,可用来制造导电复合材料。
