Fushan divided the gynecological diseases into leukorrhea, leukorrhea with greenish discharge, yellowish vaginal discharge, black vaginal discharge, leurrhea with bloody discharge.
傅山将带下病分为白带下、青带下、黄带下、黑带下、赤带下,认为带脉损伤,脾气之虚、肝气之郁、湿气之侵是基本病机,故在治疗上注重健脾祛湿、疏肝补肝并提出"治带宜重肾火"。

赤带
赤带 病证名。出《备急千金要方》卷四。亦名带下赤。指妇女带下色红而浊粘有臭味者，称为赤带。多因忧思伤脾，郁怒伤肝，肝经郁火内炽，下克脾土，脾失健运，湿热之气与血俱下而成赤带。治宜扶脾气，清肝火。方用清肝止淋汤，或用清白散（《医宗金鉴·妇科心法要诀》：当归、黄柏、炒白芍、樗根皮、生地、川芎、贝母、炮姜、甘草），加地榆、荆芥、黄芩以清热止带。此证如长期不愈，应注意癌变，宜早期诊治。
