Based on field hydrographic surveys and sediment data analysis,the influences of water and sediment characteristics,component of deposited material and variation of salinity on depositional rate of sediment in the area is discussed and sediment source as well.

Using column tests,water quality character of leachate and permeability coefficient variation law when leachate passing through the drainage layer in landfill sites were studied,and genetic mechanism of mineral precipitation and its influence on permeability of drainage layer were analyzed.
