| 丁丁虫亚目 Tintinnina 原生动物门多膜纲寡毛目的一个亚目，通称丁丁虫。分13科73属约2000种。大多数世界性分布。主要为海产，热带水域较多，淡水种类很少，个体小。具瓶状、杯状、壶状以及其他各种形状的铠壳。壳由身体分泌物形成，常常附有砂砾，但也有光滑无砂的。纤毛虫体位于壳内。身体仅背侧有1列较长的纤毛形成的纤毛膜 。 口缘周围有长的弹性纤毛 。丁丁虫以接合和分裂两种方式进行生殖。化石丁丁虫见于上侏罗纪至下白垩纪，世界各地石灰岩中都有发现。 |
